I was reading Pydd's multiply journal, and found that quote from a Hong Kong comic book in one of her entries. I always found the quotes they used in Hong Kong comic books to be quite amusing, and at times quite wise (at least the ones that were translated in BM, since I can't read Chinese).
I wonder if any of you know of any good 'Honkie Comic Quotes' or references. I remember a few I think:
"Bila keranda diusung, baru bercucuran air mata"
"Kail panjang sejengkal, lautan dalam jangan diduga"
"Lebih kuat/dalam/tinggi/(insert adjective here) dari 7 petala langit dan 7 petala bumi" (It would also seem that every Hero's super secret killer move has to have something to do with 7 petala langit and 7 petala bumi).
Add more in the comments if you know any. It'd be interesting to see what other quotes you might have found memorable.

i dun think they use these kinda quotes anymore, but we sure do see lotsa them back then, and most of em mainly our normal malay quote like - 'darah baru setampuk pinang' and all, so i'm kinda confused if wut i remember are quotes from the comics or from BM textbook, but there's one dialog dat always make me feel all powerful

My God I can make a dictionary of this. But my all time favourite will be this;
"Bagai termakan buah si malakamo, ditelan mati mak, diluah mati bapak."
What the hell is "buah si malakamo" anyway?

Btw.. from those comics la baru aku tahu 'balik kuang' tu apa. Wonder whether it's in the DBP dictionary or not?

Haha, I know I spent more time reading those comics in school than the BM text book, that's for sure.
There is this one part, where Ji Fat had a fight with Biduanda Siluman. Then Biduanda Siluman launch an attack known as "Raja Monyet Merebut Buah Pic" and try to grab Jifat's balls!
Euwww what a dirty stance!
Then the next day my friends started to launch the same stance and try to grab each other balls. Dumbass.
hmm i wonder what buah malakamo is..
btw i only read mutiara naga when i was in school but i can't remember any quotes or proverb..but since im from melaka, i want to share with u guys how org melaka being nice to each other..
my late granny used to say this:
"hah?! kau takde keje lain ke selain menyusahkan aku..apesal kau tak mampos2 lg? pegi telokop la kau.."

the one honky comic dialogue that really got stuck in my head is "bagai pucuk yg dilancar",i just don't know why?usually when they let loose their auras on one another!
